Our jack hammer had to be taken to the local welder so all work on the closet has stopped; hopefully we will be back in business tomorrow.
In the meantime, I worked some more on my fussy cut quilt and managed to get the top completed.
I hope to have it pinned by this evening so I can begin the machine quilting tomorrow.
Wow, how cool is that. I bought a set of fussy cut rulers last summer, one of those things I just HAD to have. Heven't used them yet but after looking at your quilt top I just may. I have a lot of pretty fabic but not enough of any one thing to make into a quilt. This way I could pick and choose the best parts and set them in a neutral background like you did.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration, Patty. Your quilt top is beautiful, be sure to post a picture when it's quilted.

Wow, that's pretty and elegant! For some reason, I pictured it hanging to dry on a clothesline smelling so sweet and fresh. I love quilts!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and well done.. every time I see your quilts it makes me want to make one. You know I love to make quilts but there are so many other things I'm involved in that I just know if I start one I'll never get anything else done. I think that's why I've been making so many patchwork dresses... to get it out of my system.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it!
