Today I sat down and figured up just how many strips I am going to need for my king size quilt; 810 is the grand total. I think I currently have two thirds of them cut and sorted. After cutting for awhile I stitched a few blocks together; this is how the quilt will look when I begin stitching the blocks together.
It's a good thing I do not have a deadline to meet; cutting strips from irregular shaped fabrics is time consuming.
The quilt is already looking nice.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be such an awesome quilt! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you've combined the different widths. What are the widths that you're cutting out?
ReplyDeleteI know it's hard work but it's going to be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, GF! Are you using a foundation for the strips?
