Recently I walked into a Wal-Mart store and found red ripe strawberries marked at 98-cents per pound.These will stay in the freezer until the weather cools and I have time to turn them into strawberry jelly.
We've been buying them at that price at Aldi's and have frozen several gallons along with 99 cent per pint fresh blueberries too.. going to be some good eating come winter :)
Now, I don't know why I haven't thought of freezing fruit myself. I see the sales but can't think of anything to make. I should have been freezing it!!!
