For the past 2 years, or perhaps I should say the past 2 Christmases, I have wanted to make Elizabeth a Raggedy Ann doll.
My mom even sent me her old pattern to use but it seems I always have too much going on to get around to the doll.
This morning I managed to cut out the doll and since I am starting it early I hope to finish it by Christmas. We'll see how it goes, I have good intentions but then again I have had good intentions for the past 2 years!
That doll is really easy to make, the only hard part is the hair. and it becomes easier after the first few stitiches. I used to make them and sell them, people will buy them.
I made the raggedy ann for my niece two years ago - figure out an easy way to do the hair - i couldn't manage to follow the directions. Still haven't made her the raggedy andy - but she LOVES the doll I did get done:) Kris
No computer until your "homework" is done. (Just kidding here.) I also have this pattern. I don't think I've even opened it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck. Miss Elizabeth won't stay young forever. My almost 23-year-old was 9 or 10 just yesterday. :)
LOL you and I both.. but I have faith in you.. you'll get er done this time.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will get it done! Can't wait to see the finished doll! Haven't decided what to make for Pamela and Caitlin on their homemade gifts...
