Currently our garden is doing well;
Especially our potatoes; but sadly we have not been able to add to the garden.
The area, where we want to plant our corn and green beans, is covered in winter wheat that is thick and lush because of our wonderful rain.
Our poor tractor is currently in a "non-working" state. Hopefully the mechanic will be able to come and work on it soon.
We need the tractor to disk up a section of the winter wheat because it is too thick to do by hand. It's amazing how important a tractor is; when it's not working little gets done.
I sure do understand.. when our tiller bit the dust it left us up the creek too.
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks good. I'm a little jealous as we are expecting frost tonight. (Actually,we can get snow and/or frost into June.)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a tractor, but there are times when I wish we did! The earth here is black clay - very fertile - but a sticky suck-you-in mess when wet or hard as a brick when dry.
Hope you had a super Mother's Day.
Being a great lover of garden art, I enjoyed going through your blog. keep on posting.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the latest I've seen you get started on your garden. Will Pat keep things watered while we're on our trip?
