Many years ago I stumbled upon a truly awesome bargain...Sure Jell for 50-cents a box. I bought all the store had and stored it in the fridge. Last year I used the last of my Sure Jell and was desperate to replace it with another bargain.
My next bargain happened recently while I was shipping at Wal-Mart. I found double packs of Sure Jell marked on clearance for $2 a pack which comes out to $1 per box; not as good as the 50-cent a box but still a great deal.
What a bargain!! I bought a box of freezer jell and been to busy to get around to trying it.. now I might as well wait for the strawberries to go on sale and make some.
ReplyDeleteThat is a bargain. How do you do it? You find such good deals.
ReplyDeleteGreat! The way my strawberries are coming in, I wish I had such a good supply like that!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good deal. Did you clear off the shelves? I do this frequently for the cream of mushroom soups or canned meats, like tuna and Salmon.
