We visited the Alamo;
And the zoo.
We visited friends who took us to Corpus Christi; I love how downtown sits right on the water.
After Corpus Christi we all headed to Padre Island to play in the water;
And search for sand dollars and shells.
Near the end of our road trip we visited family and celebrated my great-nephew's first birthday.Fall is the perfect time to have a road trip......it's not too hot and it's not too cold.
It is so nice that you can go do these things. How fun!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great trip. I've lived in all those places... I grew up on Padre Island. It's always fun to take a road trip south in the fall.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great trip! Glad you were able to come down and see us too. Pamela and I went to HOMESTEAD HERITAGE after Thanksgiving and I thought of you. You've been wanting to go there. We had fun, but it was a COLD and windy day! Was going to invite you to join us but figured after your recent trip you weren't up to another trip to Austin!
