As you know, I have 4 baby chicks now too and yesterday I put them outside in the larger pen but separated from the big hens. This way they can all get used to seeing each other. Worse come to worse, when they are bigger and if they don't get along, I will separate some of the chickens and put them in the "duck" pen, that we're converting into a rabbit pen. Anyway, did I mention that my larger hens are now laying? We're averaging about 3 eggs a day. I'm thinking one hasn't layed yet, but 3 for sure are laying.
Their so cute.. you sis is trying to talk me into ordering some chicks.. I told her I didn't want to get into trouble with the township :-)
