Well, we've make it but oh how I do not like driving through traffic.
We had to take a very tall bridge in order to get to our first destination; one of the first things I noticed as I was driving was rust along the metal. This was not a comforting sight.
And here we are at our first destination, the American Girl Store! The store was very nice and exciting but smaller than I had expected. We saw so many little girls getting new dolls. Elizabeth got a necklace and hair brush, I bought several pairs of doll shoes, that Elizabeth will inherit later on. The main item we purchased was a very cute "Dance Set" to give to Elizabeth this Christmas. Her doll is going to be so cute in it.
After arriving at Aunt Cathey's we took a tour of her home and then everyone went swimming.
The pool had a lot of plants all around making it feel like we were swimming in the tropic.

Glad you made it safely.. that pool looks wonderful.. is it in Cathy's backyard?
We have one of those tall bridges here and it curves around way up in the air like a roller coaster.. I hate it!!
