A World of Ice

Today we woke up to a beautiful world of ice and a temperature of 16-degrees.We left the house an hour early so we could drive 20 to 30 mph. all the way to town.
The sun finally came out around 5:30;
A perfect end to a perfect day.

Beautiful pictures!

Our weather station is acting ridiculous tonight. There's a chance we might get some sleet. Our coldest day this season is tomorrow at a low of 27 degrees with the high in the fifties. The news is carrying on like we're expecting a blizzard.

Maybe they should shut down the roads. Nobody knows how to drive in it. They'll all be slamming on their brakes in the ice.

Trees and bushes look so pretty with ice on them but that doesn't make me like having it in my neck of the woods.. we've had snow, sleet and freezing rain all day and it's still coming down out there. I don't know what it was when we woke up but it's only 17 degrees at the moment and dropping.
BTW I'm going to give you a call when I shut down so don't head to bed yet.
