This afternoon, while taking a break, Elizabeth and I decided to search for eggs again; I had seen and heard one of the hens under the windmill earlier in the week and wanted to investigate.
Under this clump of vines...

We found these.

Elizabeth picked up each egg very gently and placed it in a basket.

We collected 11-eggs in all.

Can you guess what we will be eating for breakfast tomorrow?

Very nice! I have a co worker who has chickens and we've been having fresh eggs the last few months. They are so much better than the store bought ones.
Hmm wonder if I have time to drive down there for breakfast? :)
Wow - jackpot! We had chickens when I was younger. Your eggs look really clean compared to what I remember ours looking like!
Oh neat! What a neat surprise! I can't wait until we get chickens... I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas on where to put the coop, and what to use for a coop. We have lots of neighborhood cats.
