Oh how I have little patience for hand work!

Today I cut another t-shirt and added it to my slow going rag rug.

I like the feel of the rug and I like the colors but I do not like the time it is taking me; so, I have decided to do away with the rug idea and use it for a table runner/hot pad combo kitchen utensil.

I think the most work is cutting the t-shirts. But I'm surprised you find it too much work, after all, you're always whipping up a new quilt!
I really like the colors of it.. just wish I lived closer so I could finish it for you... I could have that baby done in a couple hours.
I'll be glad when you all are "over" these tshirt rugs. You've got me wanting to make one and I REALLY don't have time! I wont' even begin to list the quilts I need to finish ASAP!
This is very pretty but I am of the same mind as you - too much work! But it will make a fabulous hot pad!
