More Knitting

Work on my knitted hat is coming along nicely. I chose a pattern that is simply Knit-2 and Purl-2; super easy.

 As my confidence has grown I decided to dig out a knitting book that I purchased several months ago. At the time the patterns looked easy but I never bothered to give any of them a try until last week.

This is my first completed dishcloth from the book; a butterfly!

All this knitting is very exciting :o)

Knitting

 For years I have known how to knit and purl but I lacked the confidence to start and finish a project; until now that is! Everything changed in January when I started helping out in a knitting class and I became inspired to start a project and actually finish the project.

I made a scarf out of wool yarns. It's not perfect and looks like a beginner made it, but that's okay by me because I am so proud of my completed scarf and have been wearing it on cold days.

With my confidence now built up I have started working on a hat using circular needles.

All this knitting has been very exciting :o)
