Yesterday I dumped out one of my potato containers since I saw blooms on the plant. I had read on the Internet that your potatoes would be the size of New Potatoes when you see blooms. What did I see? I saw ants and other assorted bugs and no potatoes. The chickens had a feast on all the bugs.
Tonight I decided to dump out a second container; guess what I found?
That's right, two new potatoes! They look just like a radish to me and are about the size of a radish. I let the chickens enjoy these, the next batch will be all mine!

If you want new potatoes and don't wish to distroy your plant then using your hand dig down beside the plant and steal a few then let the rest grow.
