The Egg Count

Well, today was the big day; box number one contained 4 eggs. Box number two contained 4 eggs.
Box number three contained 2 eggs.
And box number four contained 6 eggs.
The hens chose boxes filled with the grass Elizabeth had gathered for them;
And she was so happy to have all the eggs inside the chicken house!
The egg basket looks so nice filled with fresh eggs!

Wow! They are laying good for you now. I love the egg boxes. I grew up loving to go to my Aunt and Uncles house. They had a egg farm. I loved helping gather and crate the eggs for the checkerboard square truck to pick up. God Bless, Patty At pdd955@aol.com

Patty, I am so impressed! Good work on the coop. We've just finished eating all the eggs you had brought us. Now we're back to white store bought!! This must be so fun for the kids to collect in the mornings.
