King Quilt pt. 4

Today I sat down and figured up just how many strips I am going to need for my king size quilt; 810 is the grand total. I think I currently have two thirds of them cut and sorted. After cutting for awhile I stitched a few blocks together; this is how the quilt will look when I begin stitching the blocks together.

It's a good thing I do not have a deadline to meet; cutting strips from irregular shaped fabrics is time consuming.

I really like the way you've combined the different widths. What are the widths that you're cutting out?

I know it's hard work but it's going to be beautiful.

Looking good, GF! Are you using a foundation for the strips?
