In the chicken house the egg boxes were in need of new bedding.
So I mowed some dried grass;
And put it in the egg boxes.
Now the hens have fresh homemade hay to lay their eggs on.

Good grief, your grass is dry!! Looks like you need rain as bad as us? You guys getting the 100+ temps too?
I'm still working on the coop! I'll blog on it when I make more progress.
I need to bed up the next boxes again - I never thought of putting grass clippings in there....we have plenty of those!
