Nancy Drew

For as long as I can remember I have loved reading Nancy Drew books.
When I was 13 my mom gave me a copy of book number one; "The Secret of the Old Clock".
Over the years I have found used copies of the books at garage sales, thrift stores and antique stores.
Now that Elizabeth is old enough to enjoy chapter books I have begun reading Nancy Drew to her.

Oh my gosh!! You still have that book? that was nearly 40 years ago :)
I wonder if they have her books on CD? I'd love to listen to them while sewing.

People make fun of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. Why? The books are good clean reading. I think the old books are better in a way because they haven't been modernized.
