Last Day of Summer

I heard on the radio this morning that today is the official last day of summer.

My garden hasn't heard the news yet.

Mine either.. I picked another basket full of tomatoes and this morning I cooked them down into stewed tomatoes and we ate some for dinner.

Hi Patty, Looks like you have your hands full. I was looking at the onion puree and wondered if this might be a way to exten the vidalia season. My husband loves vidalia onions, but the season is so short. If you aren't familair with the vidalia it is a really sweet onion. Have you tried the puree with tham and if so did it turn out well.
