French Toast

I had a creative idea over the weekend on a new way to make french toast.I decided to try using slices of Texas toast bread instead of regular bread;
And I used more eggs in the milk solution.
The end result was a great piece of french toast.
And, it was just as good warmed up the next day!

Just caught up on your last 14 posts. Not sure why I missed them. Love the doll shoes :)

Note from Pat's blog about cookie mixes: I have two cookbooks that my mom bought me years (25+?) ago titled Make-a-Mix and More Make-a-Mix. (There is a newer edition out now.) I love these books and have used them until they have fallen apart. These authors gave me the idea to adapt recipes from other cookbooks, too. Now, I'm not quite as organized and diligent about making mixes for the pantry as I was when I was working and/or when the kids were younger, but I still try to keep a few on hand.

I've always loved using TX toast for my french toast.. I also thinks it makes great burger buns toasted on the grill.
