Pat is always asking me to add peanuts to the caramel corn when I make it. But, I don't like peanuts in my caramel corn; well, until now I didn't.
You see, I have been roasting my own peanuts lately and used some of these in a recent batch of caramel corn.
Oh my, the home roasted peanuts added a wonderful flavor to my already wonderful tasting caramel corn.
I'm sold, from now on home roasted peanuts will be added to our caramel corn. The recipe can be found here; I added about 2 cups peanuts to the recipe.

Can you post how you roast your peanuts? We're going to try to grow some this summer and it would be great to roast them. I'll have to try your popcorn, we're huge popcorn eaters here.
I love peanuts in mine too.. but then I'm a nut fan
I would love to know how you roast your peanuts too. I never thought of adding peanuts to caramel popcorn but I would love it!

Holy Cow, now I'm going to have to make some. You know me, I'm addicted to popcorn! And I ALWAYS put nuts in my caramel popcorn. Pamela keeps begging me to add chocolate.
