Years ago when I was growing up we sometimes went to Ted William’s Steakhouse for breakfast. The cook would take a honey bun and place it on the grill to fry. What I liked best about the fried honey bun was how crisp and chewy they were.
Here is my version of a fried honey bun;Place a small amount of butter or margarine in your skillet and set the flame on medium; once melted place the honey bun in the skillet and let cook, undisturbed for a minute or two. Turn over and cook the other side. This is wonderful with a glass of cold milk.

Funny that you bloged about these because Saturday we bought some Honey Buns at Sam's and this morning I had a fried one with milk :)
I honestly don't remember fried honeybuns at Ted Williams, but I DO remember eating them a lot when we went camping...
