Reap What You Sow

Yesterday, after a wonderful rain storm, I made the decission to work harder at getting the garden to grow since I already put so much work into it; that evening I went out and replanted corn in between the plants that have already come up. Today I went to the farm store and bought more green bean seeds so I could replant these too. While at the farm store I was telling them how my garden is struggling and was told a lot of people are having the same problems, so I guess this is just "one of those years".

After replanting the green bean seeds I watered everything real well. First thing tomorrow morning I will be out in the garden hoeing and pulling weed.

My garden is not doing so hot this year either - the tomatos are about the only thing. But we've had lots of cold and lots of rain, which might be part of it.

Hard work does pay off. Hopefully you'll reap the benefits this year. Seems EVERYONE I know says their garden is struggling. I've replanted everything in my own garden and they are doing okay. Seems the potted beans are doing the best, but everything else is struggling. I'm really worried about the bees.

Oh and those little chickies are so cute! They slept through most of the night with the lamp on. Had them in the dog crate on the table. They seem to be doing well.

Ha! I started reseeding my garden on Monday (thought I was the only one to do that) and now we have new baby plants growing up - squash, cucumbers, zucchini and pumpkins mainly. Good luck on yours!
