Today was perfect for a parade, partly cloudy skies kept us from getting too hot! Tonight we will bar-b-que ribs and pop fireworks.

They almost canceled our parade because of the rain but at the last minute decided to go ahead and have it so they all walked in the rain and everyone stood around and got wet.. we didn't go :)
I sure miss those Lubbock parades! We lived in the best area, only had to walk a few blocks!
We had a great 4th at home! Bunch of friends came over and had a cookout. Didn't miss the canceled camping trip at all!
