Recently a blog friend ask how Elizabeth was doing with her cross stitch; sadly my reply was she hasn't been working on it lately because of her summer activities. After this e-mail conversation I got to thinking; when I go to town I always bring handwork for me to do so why shouldn't Elizabeth have some handwork too!
Today when we went to town I brought Elizabeth's sewing basket filled with her current cross stitch project.
It worked out so well, she worked on it as we drove from one errand to another.

Hummm Thank you for the idea, Kids should do this too.
Neat idea and good training for her too... if she's like most kids they hate to spend the day sitting in a car.
