Seasonal Sewing

This time of year I'm usually busy making pioneer dresses for young girls. I have always used Elizabeth as my model and I love going back and seeing how much she has changed from the beginning. She looks so little in the earlier photos.
Such a natural model if you ask me.
I like putting her hair in braids to add to the look of the costume.
Most of the time she likes to model but not always; sometimes she gets impatient while I try to snap enough pictures.
It sure is nice having my own personal model.

You do such a good job on your regular sewing style....not just on quilt sewing!!

I CHERISH my pictures of Pamela over the years modeling all her pioneer and colonial dresses. My goodness, I can't believe I had made her so many clothes! I was thinking about Elizabeth's hair today when I sat on the toilet. YES, the toilet. My hair is getting so long it falls in!! I wondered about poor HER!! LOL
